BOSSA NOVA SERIES

Beginning in the summer of 2019, my husband began learning a new style of jazz guitar. As he works in an upstairs bedroom studio right above me, I've spent my days painting with his Bossa Nova tunes playing non-stop. His music is the inspiration behind this entire collection.

SILK COLLAGE SERIES

In this ongoing series, I am combining pieces of the past four years of silk painting to create individual abstract collage paintings, machine stitched in a style meant to resemble traditional crazy quilting. Keep checking back for new pieces throughout 2022.
